There comes a time when it may no longer be safe to stay at home without supervision or help or because it is simply too lonely. Many elderly people resist external help, putting themselves at risk and causing worry and stress for relatives who cares. As needs increase it can put a huge strain on the caring relative and put their health at risk too.

You may be considering ’getting someone in’ or you may be looking into care home options. Before you decide, we recommend that you talk to us in confidence, as you may be surprised at what can be achieved to enable you to continue to enjoy your own home.

If you already have experience of home care, for example after a hospital stay, don't assume it is all done the same way. It isn't and we can advise you on the options without charge or obligation.

We not only introduce you to private carers and assistants but also ensure that healthcare provision is up to the mark, and that you can access any equipment or aids to better living that make staying at home safer and more enjoyable.
