We are business professionals who help you grow your business in the good times, and help you remain flexible enough to survive or shrink to suit in the bad. Two of us, June Jones and Mary Paterson, deliver all the services, backed up by a few freelance specialists who work with us when required and two office based staff. June Jones is a sales and marketing professional who won a national sales competition early in her career before moving into marketing. In recent years she has been a judge at sales competitions and has helped businesses in all sectors improve their bottom line through more effective sales and marketing. She often takes on the role of an external sales and marketing manager or director but equally enjoys taking on discreet projects that use her copywriting for brochures or websites, or facilitating brainstorms on specific sales and marketing issues. Her colleagues and customers say she has an unusal combination of analytical and creative skills which together with a large dose of common sense enables her to add value to a wide variety of business projects. She is also a recruitment specialist which complements the work of her colleague Mary. Mary Paterson is a 'people and employment' specialist. With a professional background in HR, she has supported a number of companies going through headcount reduction, protecting them from the pain of implementation. She also provides generalist HR support throughout the employment cycle. She is not a lawyer or tribunal specialist as her work usually protects you from needing such people. She too is equally comfortable working at strategic level as she is on operational issues. She can provide an outsourced HR service on a regular basis or tackle discreet projects that will both protect your business and help you retain and develop the best people in your business. She sometimes calls in June to add a valuable 'internal PR' element to her work in promoting good staff relations and enhancing performance through training and better business processes. |
